Here's our partial itinerary.

Golden Valley, AZ

Leave the remodel house on March 31

Lemoncove, CA

Park RV here, so as not to stress it too much going up over 10000 feet.

Sequioa National Park

Expect to stay here 3 days to a week, either camping in tent in NP or going back to the RV each night at Lemoncove dependent on weather.

Redwood National Park

Expect to stay in this area a week or more...maybe camping on the beach with Redwoods if possible?

Linuxfest Northwest (www.linuxfestnorthwest.org) in Bellingham, WA on Saturday, April 29

Those are the strongest intentions we have, and they are intended to fulfill one of my son K-Josh's dreams as well as complete a journey that our family set as an intentional goal over two years ago.

We have our National Parks pass. It's likely we will detour off into King's Canyon a bit, maybe Lassen Volcanic, and Celia is quite interested in Channel Islands [although not this trip as it's way out of the way].

We don't expect to make it to LA...sorry Uddhava, Laguna Beach sure sounds nice, hope you are doing well there.

We do expect to attempt to meet with people in the following areas: San Francisco, CA [hi, Tom!]; Portland, OR [hey Nicole and family]; Seattle, WA [hey Craig, Abigale and others]. We expect to be out of money again when we make it to Seattle, WA and will be looking for paying work situations or trade for room/board type situations. We will be turning to the next family goal at that point which is to get a house of some type so that Clare, especially, feels more grounded and use that as our new base. If you are interested in meeting us (that's Jeff, Celia, Clare, K-Josh and Ana Arianne Shadow [that is our new kitty], our Honda [Polar Bear] and our greasel [you knew it burns waste vegetable oil, didn't you?] Winnebago LeSharo [Poly]) please contact me at jefferydouglaswaddell@gmail.com so we can work out details of the meet. I'm emailing this, posting this to various venues online, so please work with us. Once we leave Arizona we won't have consistent internet access, so please contact me before March 30th so I can email you our cell and we can talk if you don't already have it]. Please include your contact numbers, email address, etc. in your request to meet up.

Things that will endear you to us...a warm welcome, vegetable oil for our RV, home cooked meals :), open honest communication, community building [from the meatspace work/play to the emotional/spiritual work/play], opportunities to show off Linux (and other Free and Open Source Software) and all it's splendor, internet access [extra points for high speed], computer with cd burner for burning our pictures to CD [yes we will share them with you if you like :)], homeschooling/educational events, children for our's to play with, specific tips on what not to miss when in your area and more.
